How to convert an image to a lithophane
- Drop a JPG or PNG above.
- Adjust width, thickness and frame; check the backlit preview.
- Download the STL (or 3MF) and slice it with 100% infill.
Which images work best
- Portraits and landscapes with clear light and dark areas.
- Not too much fine texture: details smaller than about 0.4 mm can't be printed.
- Transparent PNG areas are treated as white (thinnest).
For a multicolour print instead of a light-through relief, use image to 3MF.
