3D printing files increasingly arrive as slicer projects: MakerWorld, Printables and Thingiverse downloads, files from friends with a different printer. Opening them should not require installing three slicers.
Everything here runs locally in your browser. The 3MF is unzipped and parsed in a background thread, shown with WebGL, and converted on your machine. No file is sent anywhere, which also means there are no upload limits or queues.
Supported
- Input: 3MF (core, materials, production extensions; Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer and PrusaSlicer projects), STL (binary and ASCII), OBJ with MTL colours, GLB and glTF; PNG, JPG, SVG, WebP and GIF images for the image to 3MF tool.
- Output: STL, OBJ + MTL, GLB, standard 3MF and faceted STEP for CAD.
- Lithophanes: photos to flat or curved lithophane STL.
- Editing: rename, delete parts, recolour and split by plate or object, keeping slicer projects intact.
Not yet
- Colour painted with a slicer's paint brush tool, textures (including glTF textures), beam lattices and sliced (pre-layered) 3MF data.
- Smooth CAD surfaces: STEP export keeps the flat triangles of the mesh.
